Veranda
Yesterday I went to the Boston Design Center to attend a seminar put on by Veranda who is celebrating its 25th year anniversary. I hate to admit it, but I never really paid much attention to this magazine. I always had the impression it was a bit too fancy and formal for my liking, but after yesterday I have completely changed my mind. The cover alone of the October issue was enough to draw me in and say, "Hey, I could definitely hang out there and feel right at home." So guess what budget? We are adding yet another magazine to our reading list. Now back to the seminar...it was hosted by Dara Caponigro, the editor-in-chief of Veranda, who introduced four Interior Designers who have all been featured in previous issues. It was extremely interesting to listen to each one of them speak and to see some of their work they have done. They're all an inspiration to me.
