Summer = Stripes

What is it about summer and stripes? It's like you can't have one without the other. In fact, all I want to do is completely surround myself with stripes, whether it's by wearing them (hence, the 2 new additions to my closet, shown below) or decorating with them. I suppose it's because, just like summer, they are simple, carefree and fun. So how about a striped wall? They look fantastic in a foyer or a kids room. Put striped chairs and rugs in a beach house and you'll create a real casual feel. Or, how about using them as a headboard and bed skirt? I love the look of the combo of both. And lets not forget the ultimate use of stripes, outdoor furniture!
